Some tips:
Since NTU is very easy to be accessed by the metro, generally any hotel that is close to a MRT station along Tamsui (red) line or Xindian (green) line will be very convenient. It only takes around 10 mins ride (ticket fare: 20 TWD, ~0.5 euro) between NTU and Taipei main station. It is very safe to take the metro to reach the meeting site daily.
Even if your hotel is away from the metro, the city taxi can bring you to the meeting site easily. The cost is relatively low comparing to other major cities in Asia.
